Solve by elimination method

3x - 6y =4
3x - 6y =5

is the answer x=9

and I think it is inconsistant and not consistant

Christy, I see 2 things wrong:

If you solved these equations,
you would get 0=-1 which is a false
statement. also the slope of each
equation =-A/B=-3/-6=1/2. So the equations have equal slopes and do not
intersect. Therefore,there is no solution.
