So what i have to do is get two articles that are local news and they must come from July and August. It must be approximately be 1000 words and must come from a major newspaper or news magazine. So i have been searching up in the new york times but you have to pay for it and the same thing with newsweek. Is there any other website i can use that is not a short article and local news?

You'll probably have to use the search feature on each (you choose the search words) and then find articles from whatever month and date you'd like.
