So sorry...what if you do not have experience in a field but are studying to be in it. I could state everything I have done but no background... should I explain that in the resume?

Just give your resume, including the years and major/minor in your education. Let them come to their own conclusions. They will do so anyway.
Some fields have apprentice-like positions where you can get experience. Depending on your intended vocation, volunteer work in the area can give you some experience. When I was considering becoming a psychologist, I worked as an orderly (nurses aide) in mental institutions to see if this was really the work I wanted.
Since I don't know what vocation you are considering, I cannot make any specific recommendations to gain experience.
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
