Since I'm in the NJHS. Is there any community service hours ideas because the advisor will give us community service hours sheet. Just to let you know I'm going to the 8th grade. My goal is to complete 300 community service hours.

Is there any sites that have list of ideas.

So far I got:
- tutoring
- working at the library
- neighbor to neighbor gardening program: we meet every Wednesday after school (we have 3 session, I just finish my first session back in June and my 2nd one is this fall) from 4 to 6 pm which for 2 hours. I'm wondering if this count as community service hours.

As for art and writing, you might be able to help senior citizens with art and writing projects in a senior center or nursing home.

Some senior centers encourage and help their clients write their memoirs. I'm sure these writers would appreciate the input from a young person.

You could check with a local senior center.
