that e symbol is suppose to be theta
treat sine theta as x, and it get's really easy!

x^2+2x+1=0
Factor,
(x+1)(x+1)=0
now replace sine theta:
(sine theta + 1)^2=0
theta=sine^-1(0)
theta=0

Houdini
I again disagree with Houdini

He is ok to the end of
(sinØ + 1)^2 = 0
sinØ + 1 = 0
sinØ = -1
Ø = 270° or 3π/2 radians

Houdini's answer does not satisfy the equation.
Reiny's right -.-
