Simplify 2(x+2)+4x-10x. I do not understand how to do this problem and we did not go over simplifying in math class. Please help.

2(x+2)+4x-10x
use distribution for the first part
= 2x + 4 + 4x - 10x
now combine like terms
= -4x + 4
