Independent Variable: Velocity of the car
Dependent Variable: Braking distance of the car
Hypothesis: As the velocity of the car increases, the braking distance of the car will also increase.
Constants: 1. Mass of the car, 2. Road conditions, 3. Braking system/equipment
Control Group: The control group will consist of cars braking at various velocities on a flat and dry road with normal braking systems. The braking distance at each velocity will be recorded and compared.
