AS A GROUP, YOU AND THREE OTHER STUDENTS MUST MAKE A PRESENTATION ON AN ANIMAL. WHICH OPTION IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF YOUR GROUP COMING TO A CONSENSUS ON THE PRESENTATION TOPIC?
1. THE GROUP CANNOT AGREE ON WHAT ANIMAL TO CHOOSE SO YOUR TEACHER CHOOSES YOUR PRESENTATION TOPIC.

The example given (1) does not demonstrate a consensus among the group, as the decision is made by the teacher rather than through a collaborative discussion among the students. A better example of your group coming to a consensus would involve open discussion and negotiation, where all members have the opportunity to present their ideas and agree on an animal to focus on together. If the group discusses various options, deliberates on each, and ultimately reaches an agreement on a specific animal that everyone is satisfied with, that would be a valid example of consensus.
