Are you sure it isn't a subtraction problem since there's a minus sign between the two fractions?
2/3 - 1/3 = 1/3
. . . 3
Then you have 1/3 divided by 3
Flip the second number so your problem is:
1/3 * 1/3 = 1/9
say i have something like
(2/3)-(1/3)
----------------
3
do i multiply the top this way
(1/3)(3/1) by flipping the denominator or
multiply it like this (1/3)(1/3)
