let the starting amounts be x and y
x = y
(x-15)/(y-24) = 4/3
x=y=51
check
(51-15)/(51-24) = 36/27 = 4/3
x = y
(x-15)/(y-24) = 4/3
x=y=51
check
(51-15)/(51-24) = 36/27 = 4/3
