0.25 * 21.5 = 5.375 = 5 3/8 pound for tacos
21.5 - 5.375 = 16.125 for burgers
16.125 / 0.25 = _________ burgers

I'm sorry I still don't understand.. :(( please explain it more throughly, thanks. (question is Saeed bought 21 1/2 lb. of ground beef. He used 1/4 of the beef to make tacos and 2/3 of the remainder to make quarter-pound burgers. How many burgers did he make)
Which line of my explanation don't you understand?
tacos:
1/4 of 21 1/2 = .25*21.5 = 5.375 = 5 3/8
That leaves 16.125 lbs
2/3 of 16.125 = 10.75 lbs for burgers
10.75 = 43/4 = 43 * 1/4
means 43 burgers
1/4 of 21 1/2 = .25*21.5 = 5.375 = 5 3/8
That leaves 16.125 lbs
2/3 of 16.125 = 10.75 lbs for burgers
10.75 = 43/4 = 43 * 1/4
means 43 burgers
WHAT 😲??????? I still don’t get it
Um....this one was way worse than the other one. Not to be rude. U just need to explain instead of just doing the math. Act like u are teaching to a class. They wouldn't understand that.
I was totally not taught this way! Please help. Can you show me a model, Ms. Sue? or at least someone who knows how? Question is "Saeed bought 21 1/2 lb. of ground BEEF. He used 1/4 of the BEEF to make tacos and 2/3 of the remainder to make quarter-pound burgers. How many burgers did he make?"
I get it very well this is easy thank you! :)
