Robin and Emily are selling boxes of candy bars. Robin sells 36 boxes of candy and Emily sells 24 boxes of candy. Which expression, using the form a(b+c), represents the amount they sold together

9+6=15x4=60

Your answer is partially correct.
4 ( 9 + 6 ) = 4 * 15 = 60
But also:
36 = 12 * 3
24 = 12 * 2
36 + 24 = 12 * 3 + 12 * 2 = 12 ( 3 + 2 )
12 * ( 3 + 2 ) = 12 * 5 = 60
Answers b and d
