(On stage, a beautifully decorated garden is set up. Jade and Princess Sofia are admiring the garden when Ruby enters)
Jade: (excitedly) The garden's all ready.
Princess Sofia: (admiring the garden) It looks beautiful, Jade!
Jade: How are you guys doing on the invitations?
Princess Sofia: (proudly) ♪ Done! ♪
Jade: (excitedly) I love them! Oh, my birthday party is going to be so great.
Ruby: (sarcastically) I wish it was your birthday every day. Except on my birthday.
Princess Sofia: (curiously) What was that?
Jade: (alarmed) Hey!
Ruby: (suddenly frightened) Whoa!
Princess Sofia: (concerned) What's going on?
Jade: (frantically) It's Lucinda the Little Witch! She's hexing us.
Princess Sofia: (confused) Who's Lucinda the Little Witch?
Jade: (pointing) Look! Oh, no! My garden! My flowers! My lanterns! Stop that! Get out of here! Lucinda came to the village a few months after you came to the castle.
Ruby: (complaining) And she's always playing tricks on us.
Jade: Last week, she put a hex on my dolls and turned them into mice!
Ruby: (upset) And she melted my crayons together. See?
Jade: (frustrated) And now she's ruined my birthday party.
Princess Sofia: (trying to calm everyone down) Don't worry, Jade. It's just a few mushrooms and beehives. Everything will be okay.
Ruby: (screaming) Ahhh! Bee!
Princess Sofia: (quickly thinking) Ahhh! We'll just have the party inside.
Jade: (supportive) Great idea! Great idea!
Princess Sofia: (determined) I promise it will be just as much fun. Come on. Let's go hand out these beautiful invitations.
