My favorite piece of literature from this semester was "Five Hours to Simla" because I strongly identified with the theme of self-discovery and inner conflict. The protagonist, Julia, struggles with her cultural identity and societal expectations, much like I have in my own life. I was particularly moved by the scene where Julia confronts her own doubts and fears during the train journey to Simla, as it reminded me of my own moments of self-reflection and growth. Overall, I found "Five Hours to Simla" to be a powerful exploration of identity and the journey towards self-acceptance.
