Hello, everyone! I’m Tiffany, and I live in Boynton Beach, Florida. I’m 37 years old and turning 38 next month! I’m also proud to be Puerto Rican.

I’ve been working in the medical field for nearly 10 years now, starting in primary care for six years and currently working as a Care Manager in a rheumatology office in Delray Beach. It’s always been my dream to become a registered nurse. However, becoming a young mom at an early age and going through a divorce set me back. Now, I finally have the right support from my family and my future husband, and I’m determined to achieve my dream.

From this Microbiology class, I hope to deepen my understanding of the subject and enhance my skills for my future career in nursing.

On a personal note, I have an 18-year-old daughter who just graduated in June and a 14-year-old son who has just started high school and is part of the marching band—he's very talented! In my spare time, I enjoy DIY projects around the house, walking my three big dogs, working out, and watching my son perform.

I was born in New York and moved to Florida when I was five, so I feel like a true Floridian now.

Hi Tiffany!

It’s great to meet you! Your journey is truly inspiring, and it's clear that your determination and support system are helping you achieve your dreams. Working in the medical field and now pursuing nursing is a fantastic step, and I have no doubt that your experience as a Care Manager will give you a unique perspective in your studies.

Congrats to your daughter on her graduation! That’s a significant milestone, and it must be exciting to see your son thrive in the marching band. It sounds like you have a full and vibrant life with your family and your passions.

I’m also looking forward to diving into Microbiology with everyone and learning alongside you. Best of luck with your studies, and I hope to hear more about your DIY projects and your son’s performances!

Warm regards,
