Good Social Skills include the ability to effectively communicate with others, actively listening to another person, having the ability to resolve conflict, and show empathy & respect. When a person has the ability to do each one listed above you will be able to manage social relationships well.
Example: There is a great age difference in my 2 daughters. The advantage is my youngest daughter has a best friend. Someone that actively listens to her hopes and dreams & her not so good days too.

Bad Social Skills are the opposite of the good social skills listed above. Bad social skills usually are very discouraging remarks, a person tends to be more critical of other people, and there is also a lack of respect & promises are usually not for filled.
Example: The I.T. tech at my previous job had Bad Social Skills. He continually made discouraging remarks about the internet service provider, and he definitely made promises he did not and could not for fill.
