Hi Oscar, I have to say that it is incredible that you have accomplished one of the most challenging yet rewarding jobs to earn a master's in Radiology. That one was one of my top picks in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. Instead, I have chosen nursing because I can connect with patients at their most vulnerable moments, make a difference in their lives, improve their quality of life, and also, as you mention, implement preventative measures. I'm lucky to say I have worked as a medical assistant in a primary care office for several years. I work with providers, specialists, and nurse practitioners. I have observed and learned a lot about screening preventatives, diagnostics, and compliances to assist and educate our patients to live better, longer lives by providing the quality care they need. With your multiskill and patient care experiences, I believe you would make an incredible nurse. Best of luck!
