Brain controls many of our body's functions. It plays a vital role in psychology because it defines of who we are. It shapes our personality, how we feel and act, and plays decision making in our daily lives. For example, they control hunger, the air that we breath in, our memory and how we think, and it interprets the senses as well as controlling our emotions. Our behavior shapes the brain and our brain shapes behavior. In the field of psychology, brain plays as a mental hardware. It processes daily inputs such as language, behavior, memory, problem solving and decision making. In one of the section in the chapter I read, it talks about Cognitive psychology. This is where it talks about our problem solving skills, our intelligence, memory, and our learning skills as well.
