Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. She will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. She will switch between playful and destructive as she pleases, and her humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which she feels is expected of her and actively plays into.
She is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with her public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for her looks and the profile she has made for herself in Hell.
She also makes a show of looking down on others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks." As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous. In reality, she is preemptively defensive and hides much of her true, more sensitive and insecure self for her own protection, not expecting those around her to show her kindness.
Angel does have friends, and while she cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, she keeps many walls up between herself and others, being very protective of her true feelings and avoiding overly emotional relationships. She holds a cynical view on the idea of redemption, although she seems to still hold onto a small hope it may be possible for her.
The ongoing controlling and abusive situation she is in with her boss, Valentino, puts her under a great deal of stress at work, and she is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts.
