Determine what the independent and dependent variables are in this article?

My opinion I think that the independent variable is personality and gender and dependent is scores.

Re-examined the relationship between the Oxford Happiness Inventory (OHI) and both gender and Eysenck's dimensional model of personality by giving attention to the performance of the individual items as well as to the overall scale score. 121 male and 335 female students completed both the OHI and the short form Revised Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. OHI scale scores were found to be positively related to extraversion and negatively related to neuroticism, but unrelated to psychoticism; gender differences were not found. Results confirm the internal reliability of the Oxford Happiness Inventory and support the view that "happiness is a thing called stable extraversion".
