In the comic strip, we follow a teenage character named Alex who is playing a popular online game on their tablet. In the first frame, Alex is excitedly immersed in the game, showcasing their skills and enjoying the virtual world. However, in the next frame, Alex receives a suspicious friend request from an unknown player, accompanied by a message asking for personal information. This presents a potential online threat since it could be a case of phishing or an attempt to gather personal details for malicious purposes. To avoid this potentially dangerous situation, Alex pauses the game and discusses the friend request with a trusted friend who encourages them to ignore the request and report it. In the final frame, Alex confidently blocks the unknown user and reminds themselves to be cautious about sharing personal information online. Other actions Alex could have taken include unchecking the “accept friend requests from anyone” option in the game's privacy settings or notifying a parent or guardian about the encounter. Additionally, potential dangers while using the tablet could include encountering cyberbullying, malicious downloads, or inappropriate content that could arise from interacting with strangers in the online gaming community.

In this unit, we talked a lot about online threats. We discussed some different potential threats we might come across and how they could be dangerous to ourselves and the technology we use.
create a comic strip, depicting a situation where we may come across an online threat.
Start off by drawing out your panel. Include at least three boxes for frames, including a beginning middle, and end. You are welcome to get creative and use more than three frames-making a longer storyline. You can make as many frames as you want, just make sure that at least three are included.
In the first frame, create a scene, depicting someone using some form of technology. This should be an introduction to your storyline, introducing us to the main character(s) and the type of technology they are using (cell phone, computer, tablet, gaming system, etc.)
In the next frame(s) show this character coming across a potential online threat. This can be a threat that was mentioned in the text, or something you come up with on your own! The character could be sharing what is happening on their device with friends or family, or thinking over things in a thought bubble. Whichever you prefer is fine, as long as the reader of your comic strip is able to see what type of potential threat is found, as well as where they found it.
In the final frame(s) show how the character (s) deal with this potential threat. How do they handle this situation and come up with a resolution?
This step isn’t mandatory, but feel free to add color to your comic strip. Have fun with this and create a comic strip that is visually appealing!
