Three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will auction off his 2003 ring and donate the money to charity, an auction house said Monday. Brady will put his ring on the block March 10 at the Christie’s auction house in New York City.
The ring is expected to fetch between $50,000 and $225,000, according to Jeweler’s Galore, a trade magazine.
Brady intends to give the money to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, his favorite non-profit organization.
“I’ve got two other rings,” Brady said. “With the sale of the third ring, I can make a child’s wish come true. There’s nothing better than that.”
