Figure 3, places of interest CRISPR clones involved in y-globin in K562 cells F and demonstrates the potential of CRISPR-Cas9 as a target of BCL11A to treat haemoglobin disorders. The displayed statistical analysis indicates that the increase in haemoglobin γ expression is significant for samples #65 (p < 0.01) and #73 (p < 0.05) compared to the untreated group. Sample #65 exhibits the most substantial increase, making it the most effective treatment in this context. Sample #73 also shows a significant increase, though to a lesser extent than sample #65, while sample #68 demonstrates a moderate increase that is not statistically marked as significant in the graph. This finding demonstrates that even small deletions in the BCL11A enhancer and different CRISPR clones in different regions determine statistically significant haemoglobin y-expression (Khosravi, Abbasalipour, Concordet, Berg, Zeinali, Arashkia, Azadmanesh, Buch, and Karimipoor, 2019).
