Well I found the perimeter by adding 24, 24, 12 and 12. Which is 72. Then I divided by 3. Which got me to 24. So I think it's right.
If you draw a diagram, you'll see that you'll get 24 three-foot spaces. But you don't need 24 supports.
I don't understand the question. I'm drawing a diagram but it's not making any sense to me. Is the answer 12?
