radiators sell for $350. Let x be radiators. profit shown by equation

p= -.01x^2 +375x -600,000.

What number of radiators will produce the larget possible profit?

What is the largest possible profit?

Since the school subject did not mention calculus, I assume this has to be done without using calculus.

Given quadratic function:
p= -.01x^2 +375x -600,000
Complete squares to find vertex:
p=-0.01(x²-37500x)-600000
=-0.01(x-18750)²-600000+18750²*0.01
=-0.01(x-18750)²)+2915625
which shows us that the vertex is at
(18750, 2915625)

profit=$2915625 at x=18750.
