Q. Neil found out that the Sunday paper that he delivers is about 1 pound and 12 ounces. He delivers 39 newspapers on Sunday's. How much do the 39 newspapers weigh? (Hint: 16 ounces = 1 pound)

A. I tried adding 16 12 times but that didn't work after I found out it was 182 POUNDS, I really don't get it please help :))

Let's change the 12 ounces to a decimal. 12/16 = 3/4 = 0.75

1 pound, 12 ounces = 1.75 pounds

1.75 * 39 = 68.25 pounds

Obviously, they do not weight 182 pounds.
