A: What i thought was that 120 g x1 mL/1g = 120 mL x100 = 12%. Is this right?

mass solute=120

percent= 120/1120= about 11 percent. The real issue is a missing word here:

(sucrose) per liter...of solution, or solvent. It is not clear.
