q is usually in calories or Joules (or Kcal or kJ) depending upon Cp.
m is usually in grams but it can be in kg or mols, again depending upon Cp.
Cp is in J/mol, kJ/mol, J/g, cal/g, or kcal/g.
delta T is in C or K.
I don't mean to confuse you but I see these units used frequently.
Provide the units for each of the terms of
q=mCp^T
