Heavenly Father,
We come before You in this moment of deep need and concern for my sister and friend. Her heart is heavy as she navigates the pain of grief for her dad, and now faces the worry of her mother’s health. We ask for Your divine comfort to envelop her during this difficult time, reminding her that she is never alone.
Lord, we turn to Your Word for hope and assurance. In Psalm 34:18, You remind us that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We cling to this promise, knowing that You are near and ready to carry her burdens.
We recall the story of Lazarus in John 11:43-44, where Jesus calls out, “Lazarus, come out!” and You brought him back to life. We believe in Your power to heal and restore life. We ask that You stretch out Your hand to heal her mother, to renew her strength, and to bring peace to their family in this time of trial.
Lord, we ask for wisdom for the medical team as they care for her mother. Grant them insight, skill, and compassion as they work. May they be instruments of Your healing.
Surround my sister and her family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence in every moment, reminding them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In faith, we trust You to walk with them through this valley. May Your healing touch be upon her mother and may hope arise in their hearts. We declare that Your goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives (Psalm 23:6).
We lift our prayers to You, knowing that You hear us. In Jesus’ powerful name, we pray. Amen.
