well, you could test each option and find their midpoints
or
you could let the other endpoint be (x,y)(3,1)
then ( (x+1)/2 , (y-1)/2) = (3,1)
(x+1)/2 = 3 ---> x = 5
(y-1)/2 = 1 ----> y = 3
or
you could let the other endpoint be (x,y)(3,1)
then ( (x+1)/2 , (y-1)/2) = (3,1)
(x+1)/2 = 3 ---> x = 5
(y-1)/2 = 1 ----> y = 3

x-1 = 1/2(5-1)
X = 3.
y+1 = 1/2(3+1)
Y = 1.
x-1 = 1/2(5-1)
X = 3.
y+1 = 1/2(3+1)
