Point A (4, 2) is translated according to the rule (x, y) arrow (x + 1, y - 5) and then reflected across the y-axis. (3 points)

a) In which quadrant of the coordinate plane is point A located?
b) What are the coordinates of translated point A'? In which quadrant of the coordinate plane is point A' located?
c) What are the coordinates of reflected point A''? In which quadrant of the coordinate plane is point A'' located?

No idea what to do, going to have an F in math if I don't do good on this test :/

Hello Anonymous! Don't be scared about getting a F on your test, because that is not going to happen if someone helps you. And that is what I'll do.
Here are some websites that you can visit:
and
-WWW.Webmath.Com

(If non of these don't help you, just try to let me know and I will try to find more websites for you to attend to. I hope I helped you a little forward to answering your question.)

Hoped it helped,

Im pretty sure those website links isn't what he needed
Or they
Translation: (x,y) → (x+1, y-5)
Reflection: (x,y) → (-x,y)
so together, (x,y) → (-x-1 , y-5)
so, (4,2) → (5,-3) → (-5,3)
I assume you know about quadrants, so finish it off.
