Plz help me!

-12 divided by 3 •(-8 + (-4)^2 - 6) + 2
My teacher said the answer should be -6. But I don't know how to get to it. Plz Help!

-12/3 * (-8 + (-4)^2 - 6) + 2
-4 * (-8+16-6) + 2
-4 * 2 + 2
-8 + 2
-6

Just follow the usual order of evaluation.
