Best thing I could find, plants need clorophyll. Gonna go off that

ANSWER: Lack of chlorophyll in the chemical equation results in no photosynthesis. Plants have chlorophyll, which is what completes the process.

Photosynthesis cannot occur if the chemical equation does not include chlorophyll. Chlorophyll, found in plants, is what brings the process to a close.
