please help me with easy comments about sulpur and iron reaction

If iron is mixed with sulphur and heated, a reaction takes place. In the reaction, the iron combines with the sulpher to form something called iron sulphide, which is quite unlike iron or sulpher. For example, a magnet will not stick to it.

Usually sulphur or chemists prefer sulfur.

Also some observations about physical properties of the materials. For example sulphur is soluble in some organic solvents such as carbon disulfide whereas the product is not.

Iron sulfide melts ar 1194C where as sulfur melts at around 116C.
