The kilo-pascal is a unit of measure for atmospheric pressure. Suppose the atmospheric air pressure at sea level is about 96 kilopascals. For every 1,000-meter increase in altitude, the pressure decreases about 11.6 percent. What is the approximate pressure at an altitude of 2,000 meters? Round your answer to the nearest whole number.

I just need someone to explain how it is about 75 kilo-pascal..

an 11.6% decrease means that for every 1000m increase in altitude, the pressure diminishes by a factor of 0.884

96*0.886^2 = 75.36kPa
