Here's the first one.

3/4 + 6/10 = 3/4 + 3/5 = 15/20 + 12/20

15/20 + 12/20 = 27/20 = 1 7/20

I know this is late, but the correct answers would be:
(Btw, this would not be giving out answers because I will be walking you through them as I give them out, pls don't hate)

1. C
The reason why the answer is C is because before you add fractions with unlike denominators, you must always find the LCD (Least common denominator)

2. C
The reason why the answer would be C is because you must first find the LCD of 4 and 10, the answer would be 20. Just a pointer, when finding the LCD, if it is difficult for you to find it, most of the LCD are just the two numbers multiplied by each other. Some are too large, and some are just right. But here, you can't use that strategy because the answer would be too big. Anyways, if you multiply 4 by 5 to get 20, then you must multiple the number 3 (the numerator) by 5 also to get the number of 15. So, 3/4 is equal to 15/20. Now, like I said before, whatever number you use to multiply the denominator, you must use the same number to multiply the numerator. If you multiplied 10 by 2 to get the number of 20, then you must multiply 6 by to get the number of 12. So, the fraction 6/10 if equal to 12/20. The next step is to add the new fraction. You only add the numerators if the denominators are the same. Anyways, 12 + 15 = 27. The number 27 is a larger number than 20 so that means the final fraction/answer would be a mixed number; 1 7/20. This way must be confusing, you can choose the way Ms. Sue explain, or you can choose mine. Either way will get you to the correct answer.

3. B
The reason why the answer is B, is because the LCD of 6 and 4 is 12. That isn't the only reason why. Like I said before, you must always find the LCD (least common denominator) before adding, multiplying, subtracting, and dividing. Well, maybe no multiplying, but whatevs. If you multiplied 2 to the number 6 to get the number of 12, then you must do the same with the number 1 (the numerator of the fraction 1/6). 1 multiplied by 2 would be 2. So, the fraction 1/6 would be equal to 2/12. Now, onto the next fraction - 1/4. If you multiplied the number 4 by 3 to get the number 12, then you must do the same to 1. 1 multiplied by 3 is 3. Simple math. That last thing you need to do to find your answer, is to add the fractions' numerators. 3 + 2 = 5. That means the 1/6 + 1/4 = 5/12

4. A
An easy way to figure this one out is by dividing the numerator by the denominator. We will first divide 1 by 6 to get an answer as a decimal: 0.1666666666666667. This might seem confusing to divide if you are an early bird, but it really need to, you may use a calculator. Now, next we are going to divide 2 by the number 5. Again, we will get the answer as a decimal: 0.4 . Then, we will divide the fraction of 1/3. Just to let you know, the slash "/" that separates the numerator and the denominator represent the division sign. It is confusing to explain so I won't say no more. Anyways, 1 divided by 3 is equal to 0.3333333333333333. Finally, to find out final fraction/answer, we must add the decimals of the fractions. 0.1666666666666667 + 0.4 + 0.3333333333333333 = 0.9. The decimal 0.9 is equal to 90/100. To simplify, the answer would be 9/10.

5. D
(You may use a calculator for this one too.) The answer would be D because 5 multiplied by 5 is equal to 25. If we multiply 5 by 5, then we must do the same with 1. 1 multiplied by 5 is 5. Simple Math. So, 1/5 is equal to 5/25. Add 14 and 5 (the numerators) to get the answer of 19. So overall, the answer would be 19/25.

Just to let you all know, I am going to be explaining how I got the answers when I give them to you. I realized that I was just giving the answers out and letting people cheat on their test, until I also realized that giving an explanation covers that fact that people are cheating and helps them know how to prepare for their next test. And these answers and explanations are 100% correct!!
thx tempest that helped and you have all the answers correct
thank you very much tempest and I agree 100% with you, some people like to come here to cheat but I only check my answers on here so thank chu very much!!

1. most of the time when there is the word 'altogether' you usually add.
So, 3/4 + 6/10 = 30/40 + 24/40 = 54/40 = 1 7/20
(both denominators must be the same before you add.)
1) C

2. 1/6 + 1/4 = 4/24 + 6/24 = 10/24 = 5/12
2) B
3. 4/7 + 3/14 = 8/14 + 3/14 = 11/14
3) A

4. 14/25 + 1/5 = 14/25 + 5/25= 19/25
4) D
So when you add, you have to make the denominators same. How? Like fractions in number 4, the denominator 5 can be changed to 25 by multiplying 5. 5 x 5 = 25. Whatever you do to the denominator, also do it to the numerator. 1 x 5= 5.
So 1/5 = 5/25.

Hope this helps.
Oh sorry I forgot to mention you can also find the Least Common Denominator (LCD) .
u got EVERY answer wrong
unless this is for a different test which i HIGHLY doubt
sry if it is tho
i got 0 on my test
