Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Instructions
a. If needed, rewrite the following equations in slope-intercept form. *
b. Indicate the slope and the y-intercept for each of the equations.
c. Using graph paper and a straight edge, graph the equations.
1. y = 3x − 4
2. 2x + 3y = 6
3. y + 3 = 0
4. x − 6 = 9
*Hint: One of the equations is already in slope-intercept form and one of the equations cannot be written in this form.
Instructions
a. If needed, rewrite the following equations in slope-intercept form. *
b. Indicate the slope and the y-intercept for each of the equations.
c. Using graph paper and a straight edge, graph the equations.
1. y = 3x − 4
This one is in slope intercept form. (y=mx+b)
Solve for x and y in the equation, then graph.
2. 2x + 3y = 6
Put this one in slope intercept form. y=mx+b
Then, or course solve for x and y and graph.
3. y + 3 = 0
Cannot be in slope intercept.
4. x − 6 = 9
Cannot be in slope intercept.
How do I put it in slope intercept form?
2. Subtract 2x from both sides and then divide both sides by 3.
I hope this helps a little more. Thanks for asking.
