As density of pine tree is less than water it floats.similarly lead sinks and ice floats.

If the density of the object is less than that of water it will float; if the density of the object is greater than that of water it will sink.

pine tree!! that question not mention how long it will float and sink. ice, float at first since lesser density later on it will mixed up to water(combine).
lead always sink. pine tree is the answer, at first float then later on it will sink when the parts of woods gently absorbed water.
