C None of the answers are right. If c were right, the pressure at the bottom of the ocean would be the same as near the surface. Here is Pascal's principle: Pressure applied to an enclosed fluid is transmitted undiminished to every part of the fluid, as well as to the walls of the container.
It is too bad c did not say pressure applied...

B. The gravitationional attraction between Earth and Moon does not fluctuate measureable.
The sun also has a very strong effect on tides; it is about 1/3 of the effect of the moon. It is the reason you always have higher and lower tides when the moon is full or new
