Week 1:
Day 1:
- Introduction to the Spanish language and pronunciation
- Learn basic greetings in Spanish
- Introduce the colors in Spanish using flashcards and visual aids
Day 2:
- Review colors learned on Day 1
- Practice identifying colors in Spanish through games and activities
- Introduce new colors and practice pronunciation
Day 3:
- Review colors and practice pronunciation
- Introduce simple phrases using colors (e.g. "La manzana es roja" - The apple is red)
- Practice using colors in sentences
Day 4:
- Review colors and phrases learned
- Sing a song or chant about colors in Spanish
- Play a matching game with colors and their Spanish names
Week 2:
Day 1:
- Review colors learned in Week 1
- Introduce additional colors and practice pronunciation
- Practice using colors in sentences with more complex vocabulary
Day 2:
- Review all colors learned so far
- Introduce the concept of describing objects with colors in Spanish
- Practice describing objects using colors
Day 3:
- Review colors and descriptions learned
- Introduce a craft activity where students can create artworks using different colors and describe them in Spanish
- Practice describing their artwork in Spanish
Day 4:
- Review all colors, phrases, and descriptions learned in the past two weeks
- Play a game where students have to identify and describe objects using colors in Spanish
- Wrap up the lesson with a fun review activity or game
By the end of the two weeks, students should be able to identify and describe various colors in Spanish and use them in simple sentences and descriptions.
