Peripheral artery disease pain area

1 answer

The pain associated with peripheral artery disease (PAD) is typically felt in the lower extremities, particularly in the legs and feet. This pain is often described as cramping, aching, or feeling like a heavy weight in the legs. It may begin during physical activity or exercise and improve with rest, a symptom known as intermittent claudication. In some cases, PAD pain may also occur at rest and be more severe, especially in advanced stages of the disease.
