perimeter of a rectangle is 10

times the width. The length is 9
metres more than the width.Find the width of the rectangle.

L = W+9

2L + 2W = P

2(W+9) + 2W = 10W

Solve for W.

I have this same question in my maths textbook and the answer says 3 meters and I don't understand how they got that answer
