You have to arrange all of the numbers in order from highest to lowest and count to find the middle number.

example: 20 30 40 50 60
has a median of 40 - the middle number

23 30 40 60

the middle is between 30 and 40

so 30 + 40 = 70?2 = 35

its 6.5
