Physical changes make a physical change, Chemical changes make a chemical change. Physical changes are temporary; however, chemical changes are more permanent. A physical change absorbs little to no energy and a chemical change absorbs energy. Lastly, a physical change can change the sizes shape, size, etc. However, a chemical change changes both physical and chemical properties. Some examples of physical changes are freezing water, boiling water, and melting wax. Some examples of chemical changes are the digestion of food, rusting, burning of coal, etc.
