IN BEING EMOTIONAL READY FOR PARENTING
so you can deal with them
* To reduce risk of emotional and/or mental disorders when certain challenges of parenthood arise or during transition to parenthood

* when a person is emotionally ready for parenthood they are more likely to maturely handle/deal with or cope with the heavy responsibility of parenthood or upbringing of a child or children
Great points! Here are two more reasons why emotional readiness is necessary for good parenting:

1. Role modeling: Parents are role models for their children. When parents are emotionally ready, they can model healthy emotional expression and communication for their children. This helps to build strong relationships and fosters emotional intelligence and resilience in children.

2. Coping with stress: Parenting can be stressful at times. When parents are emotionally ready, they are better equipped to cope with the stressors that come with parenthood. This allows them to respond to their children's needs in a calm and supportive manner, even when challenges arise.
