I only wish I'd read the other renters' reviews before clicking "Reserve." Yes, the cottage is located "steps" from the beach . . . if you're a giant, that is. For a mere mortal like me, the distance was better measured in blocks, which is way too far when you're toting multiple bags, beach chairs, and sun umbrellas!
But once I got over my frustration about the inaccurate description, I realized that Beachy Keen's property was, in every other way, perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed (except perhaps for a motorized buggy to transport us to the beach!). Maybe my week in paradise has softened me up, but I'd definitely consider this cottage next time I'm in the area.
