Please check my ideas on this Thank you. I have to still write the essay. I am not sure I am understanding the assignment correctly.
Identify and describe one of the major changes within the health and human services system and discuss how it has evolved over the years.

Health and Human Services have changed over the years to meet the needs of the changing environment and population. One of the major changes within the health and human services system is Vaccinations for Children in low-income families. ( I am not sure if I should talk about how vaccinations for children, in general, has changed, or do I just discuss the Vaccination Program for children that was established, providing free immunizations for low-income families.

Health and Human Services have changed over the years in order to meet the needs of the changing environment and population. The system has changed for children in-low income families. One of the major changes is vaccinations.
Childhood vaccinations are important to help shield children from serious illness. Over the years there have been improvements made to help ensure that children of low income- families are able to get the vaccinations need to help keep them healthy. Vaccinations are a very important part of a child’s life it helps to protect them against different diseases such as measles mumps and rubella.
One of the improvements made is The Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) which is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost for children who might not otherwise be vaccinated. VFC was created in 1993 as a new entitlement program to be a required part of each state’s Medicaid plan.
