One stride of Laura is 1.5 that of Lilly. If Laura can cross the room in 4 strides then in how many strides can Lilly do the same thing?
Please explain step by step. I have asked so many people, but everyone is confusing me.

The answer is 6 strides apparently
if Lily's strides are x feet, then to cover a distance d, it will take d/x strides.
Laura's strides are 1.5x, so it will take her d/(1.5x) = 4
so, d = 4* 1.5x = 6x
so it will take Lily 6 strides
Laura's strides are 1.5x, so it will take her d/(1.5x) = 4
so, d = 4* 1.5x = 6x
so it will take Lily 6 strides
