Think about it. To study the universe you need to use a telescope to view distant objects. On earth, the atmosphere makes such sightings faintly blurry. On the moon, with virtually no atmosphere, the images will be a lot clearer. That is why we have spent enormous time and effort to launch things like the Hubble space telescope, to take clear images outside earth's envelope of air.
Do a little more study, and you won't have to make guesses.
