Once the two children stumbled uppon the cave they approached it cautiously. Both children tried to get the other to go first into the cave because they were both a bit scared. After trying to get one another to go in they gave up. So they looked inside the cave which looked dark and damp. They stayed really close to each other to feel more safe.
